GuessMate is a free Guess Who style game you play in the browser. Each of you picks a secret character, then you take turns asking yes or no questions to find theirs. First to guess right wins.
No download, no app store needed: open guessmate.co.uk on any phone or computer and play.
Four ways to find a game
- Quick match pairs you with whoever else is looking right now.
- Join a game lists public games waiting for a player.
- Host a game puts yours on that list: you pick the board and the rules.
- Invite a friend sends a game to someone on your mates list.
Tap Play, then Play online, and choose Classic or Double Trouble.
Twelve card sets to play
The Locals, Animal Town, Pirates and Farm Life are free from the start. Sports Stars, Jungle, History Makers, Cryptids, Wild West, Under the Sea and Toy Town open as you level up, plus Halloween and Christmas while they're on. The host picks the set, and you can play it even if you haven't unlocked it yet.
Double Trouble
Fancy a harder game? In Double Trouble you each hide two cards. Every answer is Neither, One of them or Both, then name both to win. It opens at level 10, or straight away with GuessMate Pro.
Not online?
Play the bot on Easy, Medium or Hard, pass one phone round the table with Pass & Play, or take on the Daily Challenge: one board for everyone, every day, with leaderboards.

Is it free?
Yes. GuessMate is free to play. GuessMate Pro (£3.99, once) opens every card set and board style straight away. No ads, no subscription.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in the browser on any phone or computer. There's an Android app on Google Play too.
Can I play with my friends?
Yes. Add them as mates and send an invite, or host a game and tell them to join.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes. Make a custom board from photos of your mates and play it online with them.
