Make a custom Guess Who style board of your mates
GuessMate turns your own photos into a guessing game board. Pick a group photo, tap each face, and in a couple of minutes you've got a board of your mates, your family or your work lot. Then see if they can guess who you picked.
It's free, and it runs in the browser on any phone or computer. There's nothing to download.
Make your board in three steps
- Snap your mates. From the menu, tap Create your custom board, then Add mates, and choose some photos. Group photos are best: one picture can make several cards.
- Frame each face. Tap a face and a gold box appears. Use − and + to frame the head, then tap Add this one. Do the same for everyone in the photo.
- Build your board. Give each mate a name, then tap Boards, New board, and pick 12 for a quick game or 24 for a full one.
Then play it
- Online with a mate: invite someone from your mates list and they get your board for that game.
- Pass & Play: two of you on one phone. Each picks a secret mate, then you take turns.
On a photo board there's no question list. You ask anything you like, out loud or typed: "Do they support Arsenal?", "Would they lend you a fiver?" The other player answers, and you knock down the cards it rules out.
Your photos stay yours
Your photos stay on your phone. In an online game the board goes only to the mate you're playing, for that game, and isn't kept on any server. Photo boards are never shown to strangers: Quick match and public games only ever use the built-in card sets. Read the Privacy Policy.

Is it free?
Yes. You can make two boards free. GuessMate Pro (£3.99, once) gives you as many as you like, plus every card set and board style.
How many photos do I need?
12 faces for a quick game, or 24 for a full board. One group photo can give you several faces.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one, so your photos and boards are safe if you change phone. It only takes an email.
Can strangers see my board?
No. Photo boards can only be played with your mates, never in Quick match or public games.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. GuessMate runs in the browser on any phone or computer at guessmate.co.uk. There's an Android app on Google Play too.
