When someone turns up, whoever started searching first becomes the host and picks the board. You don't need to do anything.

How to play
- You pick a secret character. So does the bot.
- Take turns asking yes/no questions about the other's secret character.
- Every answer rules people out — flip them down. Tap cards yourself, or hit Auto-flip and the app does it for you.
- When you think you know, hit I know who it is and tap your guess.
- Guess right and you win. Guess wrong and you lose — so be sure.
Asking a question
- Tap Ask a question. Man or woman questions are there first.
- Tap a part — hair, hat, eyes, ears, face, neck or top — and only the questions about that part show. Everything else has colours, age and things they're holding.
- Stuck? Tap the yellow ?. If you turn Hints on in Settings you also get a Best questions button that shows the ones most likely to help.
Magnifying glass
- Press and hold the small glass beside your own card, marked Drag me, then drag it over any card to zoom in. Let go and it goes back.
Playing online
- Quick match pairs you with whoever else is looking right now. Whoever started searching first is the host and picks the board.
- Join a game shows public games waiting for a player. Host a game puts yours on that list.
- Invite a friend sends a pop-up to someone on your mates list, or a link if their app is closed.
- Boards made from your own photos only work against a friend, never a stranger.
Levels and boards
- Every game earns XP. Boards and card sets unlock as you level up. A mate who hasn't unlocked a set can still play it with you.
- The Daily is one board for everybody, once a day. Find the face as fast as you can.
Pass & Play
- Tap Add mates, pick any photos — single portraits or group shots — and tap out twelve people. They stay on this phone, never uploaded.
- Two of you share the one phone. Each picks a secret in private, passing it over between.
- Ask your questions out loud — anything you like, not just about looks. "Would they lend you a fiver?" is a perfectly good question.
- Tap the cards their answer rules out, then pass the phone back.
- This is the real game. Single player is just practice.

How to ask a question
- Tap the man or the woman — whichever one you think it is.
- Tap a part of them: hair, hat, eyes, ears, face, neck or top. You can tap the picture or the buttons underneath.
- Questions about that part show up in the list. Tap one to ask it.
- The other player says yes or no, and you knock down the cards that don't fit.
Everything else has colours, age and things they're holding.
